Dark Waters of Freeport

Wanting to avoid the ominous black entryway, they search the exterior of the ruins and find an overgrown passage. Inside they find some sort of psionic monstrosity. After the initial encounter Frank flees the room. The rest of the group gang-up on the creature and overwhelm it. Heading out the door, a hallway continues on, eventually making a horse-shoe around the front on the main chamber. Several doors face inward and they begin investigating. The first leads to a tall chamber filled with beams and platforms of different levels. Looking down from these perches are apes, but there appears to be no droppings on the floor. When they enter they realize why the floor is so clean, undead don’t shit. These zombie apes move faster than normal apes, but Theo damages them as he heals the wounds inflicted by the apes. In this room is a secret passage leading to the large central chamber they have already cleared out. Returning to the hall they find an empty room and then some ghasts lingering by the front portal, that Theo destroys. The next room leads the group into a deadly crushing trap, but the devil calmly informs everyone it is just elaborate illusion. After finding more zombie apes guarding another secret passage to the main chamber, the last room seems to have a floating black sword that slowly moves towards them. Just then out of nowhere something reaches out to slam the closest of them. It appears that something transparent is filling the room. As the try to fight it off it comes out engulfing Frank and the devil in the process. The devil uses her infernal powers to teleport back down the hallway but she is still paralyzed. Everyone unloads everything they have doing massive damage to the blob. By the time is stops attacking all of Frank’s clothes and some of her items have melted away leaving her almost naked.
